Fonon Display & Semiconductor Systems (Fonon DSS) focuses on the semiconductor and flat panel display industries utilizing the patented Zero Width Laser Cutting Technology ™(ZWLCT ™) to create products with the highest level of precision. Fonon DSS provides state-of-the-art Laser Scribing, Laser Dicing and Fiber Laser Marking solutions to customers in the FPD, Semiconductor and Electronics industries throughout the world. Fonon DSS was the first in the world to develop a laser scribing system with simultaneous scribe and break capabilities for singulation in Flat Panel Display for Generation 6 and up to 8 Glass panels.

Advanced Solar Photonics (ASP) was created in 2007 to raise capital for producing a turnkey solution to the solar industry utilizing proven patented technology. Having already sold a number of systems for use in the solar industry, ASP is working toward improving and lowering the cost per kilowatt through cutting edge technology. Systems have already been sold and delivered for laser marking, scribing, and edge deletion in the solar industry. ASP has an advantage over its counterparts because of the longevity of its parent company, Fonon Technology International, and proven product technology coming from the flat panel display and semiconductor industries. ASP product technology is now applicable to both the silicon and thin-film processes.
