Laser Equipment Rental Business Premieres in Florida

Fonon Technology International, Longwood, Florida, launched the first US (and worldwide) laser equipment rental business represented via LaserDepot.net. This new rental business became possible only after the development of a new generation of maintenance-free industrial laser marking systems based on a proprietary Fiber Laser material processing technology. As CEO Demitri Nikitin stated: “Fonon Technology International is finalizing the multi-million dollar financing contract to support the growth of a rental business. This is going to revolutionize the laser industry. Instead of [companies] having to hire service technicians worldwide, Fonon Technology International now builds state of the art equipment requiring no maintenance, making this technology accessible and affordable worldwide.”

Initially the company will release a few hundred of the best Fiber Laser Marking Systems available for immediate rental. With a utilization factor around 60%, the annual revenues of a rental business operation will reach over $10 million a year. Stated Nikitin, “the company plans to apply the experience to another type of equipment (such as industrial laser cutting). No one in the industry has done this on such a wide scale.”

Laser cutting and marking technologies are now available with immediate deliveries worldwide. To support this immense growth the company is experiencing, Fonon Technology International is adding another 50,000 sq. foot facility and will employ more than 100 additional people next year.
